Giving Day
What?
Giving Day is a day on which the proud alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends of Daffodil International University will come together for a fundraising drive to benefit students and initiatives across campus.
We will give scholarship to eligible students with the raised fund. One can donate himself or bring sponsor to donate but we will recognize the person who gives or bring sponsor i.e. motivate another to give. We will recognize and award the best giver. 
The philosophy of Giving Day is not to raise the standard of living but to standard of giving of all Daffodilians. We also believe being rich doesn't mean how much we have but it means how much we can give.

How?
Our alumni and friends will participate by making a gift to support areas most important to them.
The participation in giving will be conducted both online and offline.
Money raised will be tracked, leaderboard-style, on the giving day website. Matching and challenge opportunities will be announced throughout the day to increase the impact of contributions. Donors will be able to unlock bonus funds by meeting challenges sponsored by various supporters, and some gifts will qualify for additional matching funds.

When?
Daffodil International University is going to celebrate Giving Day on 6th August every year.
This date has been calculated in the following way -
GIVING -
G is the 7th letter
I is the 9th letter
V is the 22nd letter
I is the 9th letter
N is the 14th letter
G is the 7th letter
So, if we add all the position numbers of the letters of the word 'GIVING' than it stands 68.
And 6 is the date and the 8th month of the year is August. So the date is 6th August.

Where?
As it's all about funding, so we will conduct the fund collection Online and a day will be celebrated on the campus premises.
